ARP recommends installing them by measuring bolt stretch, between 0.0090 and 0.0095 inches, with a target torque of 60 lb-ft (approx. 81 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched more than one thousandth of an inch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFollow the torque and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; using engine oil will change the actual clamping force.
