Each application is developed by testing the actual vehicle until reaching a point that is just as convincing for daily use as it is for pushing on a track day. Inside, it features a 46 mm piston within a 53 mm body, more generous than usual in this range: with more oil, the temperature rises slowly and the damping retains its character for longer. It is adjustable with 30 positions that act simultaneously on compression and rebound.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW 3 Series E30 M3 85-92 (51 mm weld-on strut). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer part number I-24-BR-RA.

The front mounts feature pillowball top mounts, with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear features rubber top mounts or no top mount, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom collar prevents the setting from moving with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/8 kg/mm.

Before buying

The front pillowball top mounts are a rigid anchor, without an elastic element, and on some chassis, they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber top mounts avoid this effect.

Installation requires welding and must be done by a specialized workshop.

https://driftandgrip.com/en/products/bc-racing-br-series-bmw-serie-3-e30-m3-85-92-51-mm-mangueta-soldar
