Development is carried out on the specific vehicle, refining the suspension until it performs well on both the road and the track. The key lies in the size: a 46mm piston operates within a 53mm body, which increases oil volume and delays overheating. Since viscosity changes with temperature, keeping it low ensures a stable feel. It features 30 levels of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW 5 Series E28 81-88 (52mm weld-on spindle). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer reference I-34-BR-RA.

The front features pillowball mounts, with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear features rubber mounts or no mount, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the lower locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust boots to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

There are 9 spring rate combinations available. The one BC Racing defines as the default for this car is 6/5 kg/mm.

Before you buy

The front pillowball mounts are a rigid anchor point with no elastic element, and on some chassis, they may transmit a slight knocking sound into the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber mounts avoid this effect.

Installation requires welding and must be performed by a specialized workshop.
