Development is carried out on the specific vehicle, making corrections until the suspension performs well on both road and track. The key lies in the size: a 46mm piston works within a 53mm body, which increases oil volume and delays overheating. Since viscosity changes with temperature, keeping it low ensures the feel remains stable. It features 30 levels of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW X1 E84 09-15 (rwd). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer part number I-40-BR-RA.

The front features pillowball mounts, with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear features rubber mounts or no mounts, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. Ride height is adjusted independently of spring preload, and the tapered bottom locking collar prevents the setting from shifting with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/10 kg/mm.

Before you buy

The front pillowball mounts are a rigid anchor point without an elastic element, and on some chassis, they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect, and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber mounts avoid this effect.
