Each application is developed by testing the actual vehicle until reaching a point that is equally convincing for daily driving as it is for pushing hard on a track day. Inside, it features a 46mm piston within a 53mm body, more generous than usual in this range: with more oil, the temperature rises slowly and the damping retains its character for longer. It is adjusted with 30 positions that act simultaneously on compression and rebound.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the Honda CIVIC FK8 (17-21) (TYPE-R). Weighs 23 kg. Manufacturer reference A-130-BR-RA.

The front features pillowball mounts, with camber adjustment depending on the application, and the rear features rubber mounts or no mounts, depending on the application. The front axle allows for camber adjustment. The ride height is adjusted independently of the spring preload, and the conical bottom collar prevents the setting from moving with use. Includes dust covers to protect the seals and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Supplied with a single spring rate, 6/5 kg/mm.

Before you buy

The front pillowball mounts are a rigid anchor point, without an elastic element, and in some body styles they transmit a slight knocking sound to the cabin. This does not indicate a defect and BC Racing does not cover it under warranty nor accept returns for this reason. Configurations with rubber mounts avoid this effect.
