Each phase is adjusted independently: 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 high-speed, and 30 rebound. Ride height is also adjusted independently of piston travel and spring preload. A digressive piston and a twin-piston setup work inside, with one housed in the shock and the other in the reservoir.

Complete kit for all four wheels of the BMW 3 Series E90/E92 RWD (06-11). It must be cleaned and reapplied periodically to avoid noise; this is simple maintenance that does not require opening or re-pressurizing the shock. For this reason, BC Racing targets this series at the track and recommends the BR, DS, ER, or ZX for a daily-driven car.

In the HM version, the engine bay strut bar must be removed.
