ACL high-performance oil pump for Honda B-series engines, both OBD1 and OBD2. The stock pump works fine on a factory engine, but when a B-series spends a lot of time at high RPMs, it begins to lose pressure, and this one moves more flow than the original to maintain it.
The rotors (gerotor) are precision machined from a highly durable steel and copper alloy, with tight tolerances between the housing and rotors to provide the correct pressure and flow, and each pump is individually inspected and tested.
Install it primed, with clean oil inside and the rotor turned by hand a few times, so that it does not start dry and cavitation does not occur. Keep in mind that a new pump will not correct low pressure caused by worn bearings, clogged passages, or a faulty pressure sensor.
