ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings for Honda V6 J32, J35
€86,50
ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings for Honda V6 J32, J35 (part number 6B1995H), designed for engines that will operate under much higher loads and revs than stock.
These are tri-metal bearings: an SAE 1010 steel backing, a copper-lead-tin layer approximately 0.3 mm thick, a nickel barrier, and an overlay of lead, tin, and copper that conforms to the crankshaft surface and resists seizure. In connecting rod bearings, the overlay is thinner to better withstand fatigue.
The Race Series features increased crush and a slightly more eccentric shape than standard bearings, two details designed to ensure the bearing does not move and remains well-lubricated when the block and connecting rod deform under load.
In standard size, ACL specifies them for a rod journal of 54.976 to 55.001 mm, with a bearing width of 14.5 mm. For this diameter, they recommend an oil clearance of approximately 0.057 to 0.068 mm, measured with a micrometer and bore gauge. If the crankshaft has been reground, the measurement changes.
They do not have the silver-tin final coating of standard bearings, so their dark color—ranging from brown and black to bluish—is the factory finish and does not indicate any defect. ACL advises against polishing the bearing surface to adjust clearance; if more is needed, they should be combined with the HX version, which provides an additional 0.025 mm of clearance.
If the crankshaft has been reground or you are unsure of the required size, please write to us with your engine code before ordering.
