Ver descripción y características

ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings for Nissan KA24DE (part number 4B2746H), designed for engines that will operate under significantly higher loads and RPMs than stock.

They feature a three-layer construction on a high-strength steel backing: a copper-lead-tin lining, a thin nickel barrier, and a lead-tin-copper sliding layer that interfaces with the crankshaft. In the connecting rod bearings, the surface layer is thinner to better withstand fatigue.

Compared to a standard bearing, the Race series features increased crush for better seating and heat transfer, along with greater eccentricity to promote oil film stability at high engine speeds.

In standard size, ACL specifies them for a connecting rod journal of 49.961 to 49.974 mm, with a bearing width of 20.0 mm. For this diameter, they recommend an oil clearance of approximately 0.053 to 0.063 mm, measured with a micrometer and bore gauge. If the crankshaft has been reground, the measurement changes.

They do not have the silver tin flash plating of standard bearings, so their dark, brownish-black and bluish color is factory-standard and does not indicate any defect. ACL advises against polishing the bearing surface to adjust clearance; if more is needed, they should be combined with the HX version, which provides an additional 0.025 mm of clearance.
