ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings for Nissan Navara Diesel 2.5L and 2.7L (TD25, TD27)
€77,63
These ACL Race Series connecting rod bearings, part number 4B2966H, are for 2.5L and 2.7L Nissan Navara Diesel (TD25, TD27) engines. They are the standard choice when opening the engine for performance builds.
These are tri-metal bearings: a SAE 1010 steel base, a copper, lead, and tin layer of approximately 0.3 mm, a nickel barrier, and a lead, tin, and copper overlay that conforms to the crankshaft surface and resists seizure. In connecting rod bearings, the overlay is thinner to better withstand fatigue.
ACL manufactures them with more "crush" (interference fit) than a standard bearing to ensure they stay firmly in place and dissipate heat better, as well as increased eccentricity, which helps maintain the oil film when the housing deforms at high RPMs.
In the standard size, ACL specifies them for a crankpin diameter of 56.913 to 56.926 mm, with a bearing width of 26.1 mm. For this diameter, they recommend an oil clearance of approximately 0.059 to 0.070 mm, measured with a micrometer and bore gauge. If the crankshaft has been reground, the measurement will change.
They do not have the silver-tin finish found on standard bearings, so their dark color—ranging from brown and black to bluish—is the factory finish and does not indicate any defect. ACL advises against polishing the surface of the bearings to adjust clearance; if more is needed, they should be combined with the HX version, which provides 0.025 mm of additional clearance.
