Ver descripción y características

ACL Race Series connecting rod bearing set for Nissan VG30, part number 6B2390H. This is ACL's competition line, the same used in drift, circuit, and drag racing engines.

They feature a tri-metal structure with a steel backing, copper-lead-tin lining, nickel barrier, and a soft overlay that conforms and prevents seizing, even under very high loads. On the connecting rod bearings, the overlay is thinner to better withstand fatigue.

Race Series bearings have increased crush and a slightly more eccentric shape than standard bearings—two details designed to keep the bearing from shifting and ensure proper lubrication when the block and connecting rod deform under load.

In standard size, ACL specifies them for a connecting rod journal of 49.961 to 49.974 mm, with a bearing width of 17.1 mm. For that diameter, they recommend an oil clearance of approximately 0.053 to 0.063 mm, measured with a micrometer and bore gauge. If the crankshaft has been reground, the measurement changes.

They do not have the silver-tin final plating found on standard bearings, so their dark color—a mix of brown, black, and bluish—is the factory finish and does not indicate any defect. ACL advises against polishing the bearing surface to adjust clearance; if more is needed, they are combined with the HX version, which provides an additional 0.025 mm of clearance.

If the crankshaft has been reground or you are unsure of the required size, please write to us with your engine code before ordering.
