Description

ACL thrust washers for Ford BDA, BDB, BDC, BDD, part number 1T2152. They control the crankshaft's axial play, meaning they prevent it from moving forwards and backwards, which is subjected to high stress with high-pressure clutches or hard launches.

It is advisable to change them whenever the main bearings are replaced and then check the axial play with a dial indicator.
