Description

ACL thrust washers for Ford and Lotus 1.5L, 1.6L (Elan, Escort, Cortina), part number 10C5808. They control the crankshaft end play, preventing it from moving forwards and backwards, which is subjected to high stress with high-pressure clutches or hard launches.

It is advisable to replace them whenever the main bearings are changed and to check the end play afterwards with a dial indicator.
