Description

ACL thrust washer set, part number 2T2204, for Mini 1275cc (-1983). They control the crankshaft's axial play, meaning they prevent it from moving back and forth, which is subject to high stress with high-pressure clutches or hard launches.

It is advisable to replace them whenever the main bearings are changed and to check the axial play afterwards with a dial indicator.
