ACL thrust washer set, part number 1T1853, for Toyota and Lotus 2ZZ-GE (Celica, Elise, Exige). They control the crankshaft's end play, ensuring it does not move forward or backward, which is under high stress with high-pressure clutches or hard launches.
It is advisable to replace them whenever the main bearings are changed and to check the end play afterwards with a dial indicator.
If the crankshaft has been reground or you are unsure of the required size, please write to us with your engine code before ordering.
