AEM coil that combines the energy and voltage of a capacitive discharge ignition (CDI) with the long spark duration of an inductive coil. It provides over 100 mJ of energy and at least 40,000 V, with a spark duration of up to 2.9 ms, without the need for an external module, because it has an integrated IGBT igniter. Designed for high-compression, high-revving, turbocharged, or nitrous oxide engines. For competition use.
Requires custom tuning and should be installed by an experienced technician.
