Kit V3 Pro with 4.3-liter tank. Its control unit supports various input signals, making it suitable for turbo, supercharged, or high-compression naturally aspirated engines. Water or methanol injection sprays a very fine mist into the intake. As it evaporates, the water absorbs heat and lowers the air temperature by several tens of degrees: the air becomes denser, allowing for higher pressure and timing advance without the need for higher octane, reducing knocking and lowering exhaust temperatures. AEM claims up to 20% more power. You can use plain water, preferably demineralized, or a mixture of up to 50% methanol; for safety, never exceed that percentage. The injector must be positioned above the tank, before the throttle body, and after the intercooler and mass airflow sensor, if present.
It requires custom tuning and should be installed by an experienced technician.
