Made to order. AST manufactures each structure for the specific car, so the lead time is approximately 2 months from order confirmation. If you need the part by a specific date, please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm the lead time.

This safety cage complies with FIA Appendix J in the following versions: Mazda MX-5 1.8 Roadster. Compatibility with the soft top and hard top may require modifications to the anchors, mechanisms, or the roofs themselves. AST Bolt-In V3 roll cage with 6 body mounting points, bolted onto 6 bases welded to the body. These bases are made of 3mm thick steel and are specifically designed and manufactured for each car, achieving maximum safety and fitment on the chassis. The safety structure is delivered welded and unpainted, and consists of a 45mm diameter E355 steel main hoop; the rest of the structure is made of 40mm diameter E355 steel. The structure is separated into several parts using connecting sleeves to allow for installation inside the vehicle.

Thanks to laser scanning of the vehicle body and professional 3D design, we guarantee an unsurpassed fit for our safety structures.
