Made to order. AST manufactures each structure for the specific car, so the lead time is approximately 2 months from order confirmation. If you need the part by a specific date, write to us before purchasing and we will confirm the lead time.

This safety cage complies with FIA Annex J for the following versions: VW Golf 1.5D, VW Golf 1.1i, VW Golf 1.6 GTI and VW Golf 1.8 GTI. AST Multipoint Weld-In V1 safety cage with 10 mounting points to the bodywork. The floor mounting plates are made of 3mm thick steel and are specifically designed and manufactured for each car, ensuring maximum safety and fitment to the chassis. The safety structure is delivered as a weld-in kit and unpainted, consisting of a 45mm diameter E355 steel main hoop, with the rest of the structure manufactured from 40mm diameter E355 steel. Thanks to laser scanning digitalization of the vehicle body and professional 3D design, we guarantee an unbeatable fit for our safety structures.
