ARP 203-4705 head studs are made for the Toyota Supra A90 3.0L (BMW B58). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or increased compression.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary alloy from ARP that reaches approximately 220,000 psi tensile strength and retains its properties under heat better than chrome-moly. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket seat perfectly aligned during installation.
