ARP 117-4301 head studs are made for the Peugeot TU5. Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.
Each stud is centerless ground after heat treatment to ensure it is perfectly concentric, so that the gasket and cylinder head are aligned, and the threads are rolled after heat treatment, which ARP states increases their fatigue strength by twenty times.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque values and using their assembly lubricant, because the torque settings provided are designed for it. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you verify it.
