Description

ARP 151-4203 cylinder head studs are made for the Ford Escort M10 (1600cc) (M10). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated in-house by ARP to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure they are straight and concentric, and rolls the threads after heat treatment; this results in a fatigue strength approximately twenty times higher than that of threads cut before heat treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their specified torque values, as the load received by each part will not be the same with other lubricants. Confirm the engine code before ordering; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
