Description

ARP 151-4702 head studs are made for the Ford 2300cc Pinto (lightweight studs). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and rolls the threads at the end of the process; this achieves a fatigue resistance about twenty times greater than that of a thread made before treatment.
