Description

ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Sea-Doo Rotax RXP-X255, part number 168-4201. It replaces the stock cylinder head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that better distributes the load on the gasket and does not damage the block threads every time the cylinder head is removed.

They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated by ARP itself to a tensile strength of approximately 190,000 psi. The thread is rolled after the heat treatment, which is what gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket seat in alignment when installed.

Use the ARP assembly lubricant and torque specifications, because with any other lubricant the load received by each part is not the same. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we will help you check it.
