ARP 201-4306 cylinder head studs are made for the BMW S1000RR (Bike). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.
They are manufactured from Custom Age 625+, a superalloy with a typical tensile strength of 260,000 to 280,000 psi, which is highly resistant to fatigue and corrosion. Each stud is centerless-ground after heat treatment to ensure it is perfectly concentric, so that the gasket and cylinder head are aligned during installation, and the threads are rolled after heat treatment, which ARP states increases their fatigue strength by twenty times.
