This ARP 202-4304 kit replaces the Nissan KA24DE cylinder head bolts with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, an ARP-proprietary alloy that reaches approximately 220,000 psi of tensile strength and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly. The thread is rolled after heat treatment, which is what gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket seat in alignment during installation.
