Description

This ARP 202-4306 kit replaces the Nissan YD25DDTi cylinder head bolts with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.

They are manufactured from ARP2000, an ARP-proprietary alloy that reaches a tensile strength of about 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better at high temperatures than chrome-molybdenum. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket seat in alignment during assembly.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and values using their assembly lubricant, because the torque specifications provided are calculated for it. Before ordering, confirm the engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you verify it.
