This ARP 202-4307 kit replaces the Nissan KA24E cylinder head bolts with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the points that fails soonest.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, an ARP-proprietary alloy that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly. Each stud is centerless-ground after heat treatment to ensure it is perfectly concentric, so that the gasket and cylinder head are seated in alignment, and the threads are rolled after heat treatment, which, according to ARP, multiplies fatigue strength by twenty.
