Description

ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Nissan CA16 and CA18DE(T), part number 202-4702. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load better across the gasket and does not wear out the block threads each time the cylinder head is removed.

The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures the cylinder head and gasket seat in alignment during installation.

Follow the torque specifications and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; using engine oil will change the actual torque.
