Description

ARP 203-4202 head studs are made for the Toyota 7M-GE and 7M-GTE (ARP 8740 Standard studs). Replacing the factory bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated in-house by ARP to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs much greater fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket seat in alignment during assembly.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque specifications using their assembly lubricant, as the torque values provided are designed for it. Not sure which version your engine is? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
