Description

This ARP 203-4302 kit replaces the Toyota 2ZZ-GE cylinder head bolts with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the points that fails first.

They are manufactured from ARP2000, an ARP-proprietary alloy that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better at high temperatures than chrome-moly. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket seat in perfect alignment during installation.

Follow the torque specifications and tightening sequence in the ARP instructions, which are calculated for their assembly lubricant; using engine oil will change the actual torque. Not sure about your engine version? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
