ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Toyota 2.4L 2AZ-FE (00-06), part number 203-4303. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load better across the gasket and does not wear out the block threads each time the cylinder head is removed.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, an ARP-proprietary alloy that reaches a tensile strength of about 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly. The thread is rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket sit aligned during installation.
