This ARP 203-4306 kit replaces the cylinder head bolts on the Toyota 2.4L 2AZ-FE (2007+) with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, as the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, an alloy proprietary to ARP that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better than chrome-molybdenum under high temperatures. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket are aligned when assembled.
Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with any other lubricant, the load received by each part will not be the same. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are not sure, we can help you check it.
