Description

ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Toyota 7M-GE and 7M-GTE (ARP 8740 Lightweight studs), part number 203-4701. It replaces the stock cylinder head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load better across the gasket and does not wear out the engine block threads every time the cylinder head is removed.

Each stud is centerless ground after heat treatment to ensure it is perfectly concentric, allowing the gasket and cylinder head to seat properly, and the threads are rolled after heat treatment, which ARP states increases fatigue strength by twenty times.
