ARP 203-4702 head studs are made for the Toyota 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE (ARP 8740 Lightweight studs). Replacing stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures the cylinder head and gasket seat in perfect alignment during assembly.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque specifications using their assembly lubricant, as the torque values provided are calculated for it. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you check it.
