Description

ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Porsche 996 Turbo, part number 204-4210. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load more evenly across the gasket and does not wear out the block threads each time the cylinder head is removed.

ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and threads are rolled after the heat treat process; this provides about twenty times greater fatigue strength than threads cut before heat treatment.
