Description

ARP 204-4703 head studs are made for the Audi 5 Cyl. 10V (lightweight studs). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and rolls the threads after the heat treatment process; this achieves fatigue strength about twenty times greater than that of a thread made before treatment.

Use ARP assembly lubricant and their torque specifications, because with any other lubricant, the load each piece receives will not be the same. Before ordering, confirm your engine code; if you are unsure, we can help you verify it.
