Description

This ARP 204-4704 kit replaces the Audi 5 Cyl. 2.2L 20V cylinder head bolts (lightweight studs) with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.

The thread is rolled after the heat treatment, which is what gives ARP studs far superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket seat perfectly aligned during installation.
