ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Triumph Spitfire 1.3L and 1.5L, part number 206-4203. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load more evenly across the gasket and avoids damaging the block threads every time the cylinder head is removed.
They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated by ARP itself to a tensile strength of approximately 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue resistance, and the final grinding ensures the cylinder head and gasket sit perfectly aligned during assembly.
