Description

ARP 206-4207 cylinder head studs are made for the Triumph TR4 2.1L. Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running with higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

They are manufactured from 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated in-house by ARP to 190,000 psi tensile strength. ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and rolls the threads after the heat treatment process; this results in a fatigue strength about twenty times higher than a thread cut before treatment.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque values and using their assembly lubricant, as the torque specs provided are designed for it. Confirm your engine code before ordering; if you are unsure, we can help you verify it.
