ARP 206-4209 head studs are made for the Rover K-Series. Replacing the factory bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running higher turbo pressure or higher compression.
They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated by ARP to a tensile strength of approximately 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the head and gasket sit aligned during assembly.
Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque specifications using their assembly lubricant, as the torque values provided are intended for its use. If you are unsure if this is the correct part for your engine, write to us with your engine code and year.
