Description

ARP 207-4202 head studs are made for the Mitsubishi G54B (2.6L). Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated in-house by ARP to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures the head and gasket seat in alignment during assembly.
