Description

This ARP 207-4205 kit replaces the Mitsubishi 6G72 cylinder head bolts with studs. It is one of the first upgrades made to an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.

They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better under heat than chrome-moly. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs much greater fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket seat aligned when installed.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and values and using their assembly lubricant, because the torque settings specified are designed for it. Not sure which engine version you have? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
