Description

ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Honda B20B with B16A Head, part number 208-4306. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load better across the gasket and does not wear out the engine block threads every time the head is removed.

They are manufactured from 8740 chrome-moly steel, heat-treated by ARP itself to a tensile strength of approximately 190,000 psi. ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and threads are rolled after the heat treatment process; this achieves a fatigue strength about twenty times greater than that of a thread cut before treatment.
