This ARP 209-4701 kit replaces the cylinder head bolts of the Opel 2.0L 16V (lightweight studs) with studs. It is one of the first upgrades performed on an engine that is going to have its power increased, because the head gasket is one of the first points to fail.
ARP grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and rolls the threads at the end of the process; this achieves a fatigue resistance approximately twenty times greater than that of threads made before heat treatment.
