Description

ARP 216-4301 cylinder head studs are made for the Renault F4R. Replacing the stock bolts with studs helps keep the head gasket sealed when the engine is running higher turbo pressure or higher compression.

They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that reaches a tensile strength of about 220,000 psi and maintains its properties under heat better than chrome-moly. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which gives ARP studs superior fatigue strength, and the final grinding ensures that the cylinder head and gasket seat in alignment during installation.
