ARP cylinder head stud kit for the Lancia Delta Integrale 16V Turbo, part number 275-4701. It replaces the stock head bolts with studs and nuts, a solution that distributes the load more evenly across the gasket and prevents wear on the block threads every time the cylinder head is removed.
They are manufactured from ARP2000, a proprietary ARP alloy that reaches a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi and maintains its properties better under temperature than chrome-moly. ARP precision-grinds each stud after heat treatment to ensure it is straight and concentric, and threads are rolled after the heat treatment process; this achieves a fatigue strength approximately twenty times higher than a thread cut before treatment.
