ARP 109-6001 connecting rod bolt kit for Opel 2.0L 16V (M9 Hi Perf 8740) (M9). In a connecting rod, the first thing to fail when engine revs or power are increased is the bolt, and ARP is the benchmark for this part.

ARP recommends installing them by checking the stretch, between 0.0055 and 0.0060 inches, with a reference torque of 32 lb-ft (approx. 43 Nm) using their lubricant. It is advisable to measure the stretch of each bolt and replace it if it has permanently stretched by more than one thousandth of an inch.
