Description

ARP main stud kit for the Ford 2.3L EcoBoost, part number 151-5407. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.

In a tuned engine, the main bearing caps tend to move under load; the studs prevent this and keep the engine block threads in good condition. Includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chrome-moly steel treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.
