Description

ARP main stud kit for Mini Cooper 1.6L Turbo and N/A (N12/N14/N16/N18 07-15), part number 201-5401. These replace the bolts that secure the crankshaft main bearing caps.

With studs, the caps do not shift or rub against the block when the engine is under high load, and the block threads are no longer stressed during every assembly. The kit includes hardened and ground nuts and washers. ARP manufactures them from 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to 190,000 psi, with threads rolled after heat treatment.

Tighten following ARP's sequence and torque values, and use their assembly lubricant, as the specified torque settings are designed for it. Not sure about your engine version? Send us the code and we will confirm the part number.
